Nice and works well but the blades are too narrow. I expected wider blades for this size of a knife. It will do for a light duty usage.

This is the most useful knife I have ever owned, and the most used…bar none. It’s handy, small enough to easily carry in your pocket and small enough to easily mail home when you forget to take it out of your pocket before you go to the airport, but worth the expense. 5 Stars My favorite knife
I’ve had several of this style (they seem to have several model numbers for the same configuration). I tend to lose them occasionally. I thought I had to have the usual red model, but saw the black one on Amazon for lower price and free shipping. Now I like the shiny black model as well or better than the red. Same excellent knife to carry wherever I go (except through airline check points—damn terrorists).

This little knife is awsome, I have it in the pink and it is so cute. You’ll wonder what you ever did without it! Scissors and nail file are my favorite parts.

5 Stars A very useful mini pocketknife your boys will NEVER borrow :)
I’ve had about 8 of these mini-pocketknives in red and black over the last few years, and each time they are “borrowed” by one or more of my 3 boys. No matter where I hide them, they find them, and then lose them. I then decided to order the green and blue version of these, and I still have them 2 years later! Somehow the boys just manage to leave these particular knives alone…wayyyyy too girly for them I guess.

The knife is very useful, and my friends and my sons’ friends are always amazed when I pull it out from my purse to cut an apple, take out a splinter, snip a plastic piece from a toy, sand down a sharp fingernail, etc. And I don’t feel like some kind of knife-wielding freak when I use it because it’s so cute.

I have bought several of them as gifts for friends and they love them too!

Nothing fancy about it, just your standard girly knife. The pattern and colors are cute though. My daughter and niece are enjoying their’s and they certainly come in handy.

My friend’s dad had bought one of these for me when I vacationed with them. From that point on, I was in love with it. I had never seen one like it until I found this one on Amazon for an awesome price. I have the pink one and I got my mom the green one for Christmas. It has everything! My personal favorites are the tweezers and little scissors! You’ll be surprised at how often you’ll find yourself using it!

5 Stars Perfect for everyone!
Being a carpenter, a tech for my school’s theater, a cyclist, and a paintballer this multi-tool is used ALOT. It is by far my most used tool, and I have a full work shop.

Pros:

1. I have been using it for 2 years now and never once had a problem with any of the tools.

2. The pliers are very strong and easy to grip while being used as pliers.

3. The scissors, my most used tool, are still very sharp after years of use. I have used them for cutting gels (for stage lights), paper, tons of plastic bags, finger nails, and MANY more things yet they are still very sharp. Just the other day I very stupidly, while cutting a plastic bag full of screws, ran the scissors into my figure and got a small, but deep cut in my middle finger.

4.The wood saw almost never comes in handy while building (I prefer my larger saws), but still comes in handy. My favorite use was once while paintballing my pants got tangled on a torn bush and I couldn’t pull myself free so I used the saw to cut though the bush and free myself without getting shot in the proses.

5.I really like the locking mechanism for the tools, holds strong and easy to release.

Cons:

1.The only straight edged blade is about an inch long, not very useful.

2.Sometimes can feel large on my belt while biking, but the reassurance of having it is great.

3.The file like to get a layer of dirt between the teath, but still works perfectly, just looks dirtiy.

so, i was a bit skeptical. my wife and i have been guides for years and have used leatherman and gerber exclusively. i bought her this one as an experiment. she loves it and i love it. going to get myself one also. like the curved handle(a bit odd at first, but now enjoy it), the blades/tools, and all the accessories. most of all, i like the durability. had it for two months and have put it to good, heavy use. seems to do very well and blades keep a good edge and sharpen easily. if you ‘re thinking about getting one. do so.

Comes in very handy, nice carrying pouch and is high quality. I would spend the extra money for the RS that has more tools if you plan on using this a lot.

This multi-tool is amazing, I’ve already have used every tool in it to cutting thick stubborn rope, opening cans, cutting wires, etc. I keep this in my canvas bag just in case I need for any kind of job. I’m happy with it indeed.

5 Stars Durable, excellent customer service.
I have owned two of these now. You can’t beat Swiss army quality. I did break the phillips though (lets just say I was using a bit to much torque). Went to Victorinox website, downloaded their return/fix form, about two weeks later, they shipped me a brand new tool. Great!

5 Stars great knife
i had one of these before and it was taken away at the airport (oops!). i really liked it, found it very useful, and wanted to get another. i remembered it being much more expensive than it actually was, so i was really pleased. i order packages on the web all the time and i love having this to quickly open the boxes. the scissors are really useful, time after time. i keep mine on my key chain and find myself reaching for it all the time. this one has even more tools than my previous one. the corkscrew is always a good thing to have around, as well as the bottle opener. it is very sturdy, feels good in the hand and is exactly what i wanted.

5 Stars Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Climber
This is a great multi-purpose knife/tool. I did a lot of searching/thinking to figure out which of the swiss army knive series would be the best for hiking/camping and so far version has proven to be a very good choice.

Perhaps allow me to elaborate. And just keep in mind, I’ve had the Climber for ~1 month (summertime) now.

So far I’ve have used the can opener a couple of times, pretty handy to have when camping rather than some extra bulky or hard to find addition to all of your other items.

I’ve found that the reamer is good for getting loose extremely tight knots that you wished you’d left some slack on!

Cork screw works great. I’ve used it twice now and plan on using it much, much more. (Cheers) I think this is a good sacrifice over the screwdriver!

The scissors are nice to have, good for cutting nails/coupons.

Bottle opener does its job. Haven’t used (or really plan on using) the wire stripper.

As for the flathead screwdrivers, haven’t used these yet but figure they may come in handy one day.

Haven’t used the tweezers yet either, but again.. they may come in handy one day.

I’ve used the multi-purpose hook to pull out some smaller, metal pegs.. although, the tent situation has recently been upgraded to the larger plastic ones (too bad).

Toothpick is nice to have if you’ve been eating corn off the cob.

And alas, the blades. These are great! Very sharp so be careful when closing.

Overall, I am very satisfied.

I bought this Swiss Army Knife to replace the one that I had for 26 years

but was taken from me at the airport. This knife has the exact features as my old one and the only thing that I find different is that the toothpick is somewhat flexible. It’s a great knife and useful, especially the can opener and scissors. I know that this knife will also last a very long time.

This quality made product has all the functions that one might want when travelling; the first trip I took it on, I used the scissors, bottle opener, and toothpick, as well as the knife several times. The size is great for slipping into a pocket or backpack.

5 Stars Great Swiss Army Knife
I was looking for a knife that had pliers that worked instead of just cutting the item. This works great. The pliers grip and pull and don’t cut what you are working on. The scissors cut, the knives work great, really easy to pull out each piece. There are a couple things that I am not even sure what they are, but that’s okay too! (=

4 Stars A beader’s friend.
Having had a “Swiss Champ” and lost it, I can say that this knife does most of what the champ does, without the bulk. I make jewelry, and this little tool is excellent for quick stripping of old pieces or last minute tweaks just before a piece goes into the “done” pile. My only regret is that there aren’t any wire cutters on it. Otherwise, it’s perfect for my needs.

5 Stars Best pocket knife on the market
I have owned several SAK, but this is by far the best. All of the tools on the deluxe tinker are useful, and although a little heavy, it can very easily be carried as an everyday pocket knife. The first deluxe tinker was a gift from my wife. I had ask for a super tinker, but at the urging of our 6 year old son she bought the deluxe. My first thought was I will never use the pliers…there’re to small to be of any use and just make the knife bigger and heavier. Now I know, the pliers are what makes this knife a cut above the others. They can be used to turn the smallest screw or change a tire. Best pocket knife made.

Love the combo scissor and pliers. This is the only combo with these two tools I could find that wasn’t really big or fat. Worth the extra cost over the regular Tinker.
