Keep your sports training focused with this full-sized, shock-resistant Timex Ironman Triathlon multi-function sport digital watch (model T5H591), which features a 30-lap memory and the unique hands-free Flix Indiglo activation system. It features a durable blue and black resin case, large buttons for easy access to timing functions, and a comfortable polyurethane strap. It also offers water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet), three alarms (with 5-minute backup), and three time zones. This watch incorporates the Timex Flix system, which activates the Indiglo night-light with a simple flick of your wrist. To activate FLIX, put the watch into Night-Mode by pressing and holding the Indiglo night-light button 3 seconds until it beeps. With the watch in Night-Mode, a forward “flick” of the wrist with a sharp “stop” will activate the Indiglo night-light for three seconds.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

Great watch, but good luck trying to find a replacement band. They tend to crack & break apart at the buckle. The fitting is unique, therefore no generic band will work. You need the exact replacement band. I have not, as yet, found one listed anywhere. Is this built in obsolescence requiring you to purchase a new watch?

5 Stars Watches always outlast the bands
Has more features than previous models, such as 3 time zones. I love the watch for working outdoors and for travel. Also keeps me up to date on day of week and date. Great for timing my food on the grill.
This is my 4th in a series of these and the battery always outlasts the resin band - its only weekpoint- (lasts about 2 years if worn daily). I also bought one of these Timex ironman watches with a fabric band at Walmart ($30), and they suggested that they could replace my watchband with one designed for this watch, from Timex. I did, for $11.00. The band replacement took them 30 minutes though - even with all the right tools. Not a job to do yourself.
I now have the repaired watch, the new one with more features from Amazon and a new one with not all the new features but with a fabric band. I change them daily - and I have several other “good” watches which do not see much use, except for weddings ! Stay in the $30 -34 range at Amazon and you have a real bargan.

I have worn Ironman watches for many many years and the hold up very well and I have always been happy with their operation.

This is my second Ironman watch of this type. My first one died after a battery replacement when water got inside due to the incompatance of the place that replaced the battery. I am a mechanic and often wear the watch to work and haven’t had any issues with dirt or oil getting on it or the band.
The best thing I like about the watch is the ease of changing the time come daylight savings time.
