4 Stars Good starter scooter
I bought this scooter for my 3 year old so he would have a good quality first scooter that also looked like his older brother’s Razor scooter. The first one that arrived in the mail had the plastic around the wheels broken off so we had to return it. The second one arrived and has been fine ever since but I worry about all the plastic. With a boy riding it (and one already arriving broken), I wonder how long the plastic will hold up. Considering the regular Razors are all metal, I’m not sure why the base and unerside has so much plastic on it. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise, it’s a great first scooter.

3 Stars Fancy but not functional
It surely is a fancy scooter I’ve ever seen.

But it was too slow and even risky (handle bar) for my 3 yr old boy.

Shipping was delayed, and the logo on the handle bar was printed on the back, and my boy kept asking me which way the handle was supposed to go.

2 Stars Doesn’t glide but good stability
We got the Razor Jr scooter for our 3 1/2 year old. You have to constantly kick to keep moving - it never glides like a classic Razor scooter. If you are looking for the stability of the 3 wheels with the glide of a classic Razor try the Mini Kick Scooter by Micro Mobility for around $75. If your kid is fairly coordinated and can balance then just get the classic Razor Scooter A.

5 Stars My grandson Jake
Jake thanks you for the many hours of funds he already enjoyed riding his razor. I thank you for a prompt delivery.

4 Stars all good
Its really good, little one likes it a lot. I just wish it was little bit cheaper to deserve 5 stars.

Razor A Kick Scooter

Razor A Kick Scooter

The original kick scooter, the Razor A is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it’ll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one’s shoes in the process. Plus, it’s a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest.

The Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn’t appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk.

Recommended for ages 5 and older, the Razor A will support a rider up to 143 pounds. It’s also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A2 Scooter.

When you’re done riding, the Razor A folds down to a nicely compact size.

Specifications:

  • Scooter material: Aircraft-grade aluminum tube and deck
  • Wheel size: 98mm
  • Wheel bearings: ABEC-5
  • Brakes: Rear fender
  • Allen wrench: 5mm (not included)
  • Handlebar height: 33 inches (wheel to handlebar)
  • Weight: 6 pounds
  • Maximum rider weight: 143 pounds
  • Suspension: No
  • Wheelie bar: No
  • Kickstand: No
  • Folded dimensions: 23.75 x 4 x 7.25 inches

The buyer and rider of the Razor A scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

5 Stars Just what we wanted
This is exactly the product we wanted for our kids. I bought a blue one for my son too. Happy with the fact that it is adjustable so they can grow into it and it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

It is a little bit difficult for my kids (ages 6 and 8) to fold up on their own though.

Definitely worth the money though, as they get lots of use. Now if only we could little bags to put them for when they get on the bus.

4 Stars My son loves it !
I got the scooter for my 5 year son for his birthday and he just loves it. It is sturdy and stable.

Only con: A little tricky to fold and unfold it.

4 Stars Great fun
Easy to put together and the kids love it. Wish it had a way to prop it up when not in use. Otherewise - great product.

5 Stars Durable & fun!
Our grandson was very happy with the Razor when he received it for his birthday - 9 years old. It is strongly made, not cheaply made. Great exercise & he wants to take it everywhere. It’s very compact & can be made even smaller for transporting.

5 Stars Razor scooter review
Hello! I received the product in damaged and opened packaging. I do understand that this can happen in transport. However, in all my ordering time this is the first time receiving something in this condition. The actual product box was also banged up but the scooter itself is OK. I use it to keep up with my kids and it takes me down the path just fine. I do love the ease and convience of Amazon!
