Schwinn Free Wheeler Jogging Stroller

Featuring a 12-inch front swivel wheel and 16-inch rear wheels, the Schwinn Free Wheeler jogging stroller is especially useful for urban environments or high population densities where maneuverability is a key. It’s a great one size fits all stroller for running and walking, plus traveling or shopping. The convenient “parent tray” lets you keep your keys, phone, and a beverage close at hand and the adjustable handle bar means pushing the stroller is comfortable for parents of different heights. The five-point harness, tether, parking break, and ASTM certification add peace of mind to the smooth ride.

Little ones will enjoy its roomy child tray that can hold snacks and toys, plus large weather shield that makes riding comfortable no matter the weather. The Schwinn Free Wheeler jogging stroller can accommodate children up to 38 inches tall and up to 50 pounds.

5 Stars Perfect
I absolutely love this stroller. I bought it specifically for running and run with it 3-4 times a week going from 3-7 miles each time. I have had no problems with it. It was easy to assemble and my three-year-old enjoys riding in it. The sun shade can be unsnapped and adjusted for the sun and wind. My daughter falls asleep some days and is very comfortable. I have owned two other jogger strollers (both InStep) and this one has a much smoother ride and doesn’t veer to a particular side. The adjustable handle is a nice feature and the basket on the bottom is great for carrying my drink and anything else. Having the ability to unlock the front wheel is a nice feature for when we want to walk around the neighborhood. I decided against buying a BOB or Baby Jogger only because my daughter will only be in this stroller for another year and a half. However, if she were younger and I was going to have more children I definitely would have made more of an investment and bought one of them if I were going to use it longer. This is a WONDERFUL stoller!

4 Stars a dream to push
This jogger stroller is effortless to push. Very smooth ride for my baby. My baby sits up nicely in this stroller, the key is to adjust the seat BEFORE you put baby in, that way you can easily move the toggle strap all the way up, otherwise the weight of the baby on the back of the seat makes it hard to move toggle strap up. It is no problem though, to move seat down after baby is in seat. The adjustable canopy is huge and one of the nicest features of this stroller. Just unsnap one snap on each side of canopy then adjust where needed. I can fully protect my baby from the sun at all times. The cup holder could be deeper, and I wish there was a lid on the parent tray compartment. I don’t use the baby tray, haven’t tried, but looks like could be difficult to get a larger child in and out of seat. I connected a carabeaner from the plastic ring on the toggle strap and the lower storage compartment frame to give the storage compartment more support otherwise it will not support much weight at all. I can lift and fit stroller with no problems into my Toyota Matrix hatch back. Stroller doesn’t lock when folded, so it is a bit awkward to get out, and sort of hold together with your hands all the while unfolding the stroller. But once you get your technique down it folds easily and opens up effortlessly. I use this stroller in small cramped stores and it manuevers fairly easily in tight spaces-the width of the tires are wider than other jogger strollers; it turns on a dime. I also use on walking paths, it almost walks itself, be careful to hang on to it at all times because it will roll away from you in a second. Working up to jogging, but when I have tried, it moves great while jogging. I am very satisfied with my purchase and don’t miss my Chicco stroller at all. Remember to inflate tires about once a month.

5 Stars Best Stroller
This stroller is super cool. Took 15 minutes to set up. My baby is 11 weeks old and I was able to adjust the straps to fit him. We used a generic shoulder strap to help him feel a bit more secure. We love taking long walks and going for a quick jogs. The stroller glides across the sometimes bumpy side walks in our suburban neighborhood. My baby fell right asleep the first time I place him in there. Great buy. Wish the sun protector was included.

4 Stars Tall man likes this stroller
First off, i was against the swivel cuz i didn’t like to have moving parts up front that could break off and for me, it’s not a big deal to turn the stroller by lifting the front wheel like you have to. So, we got the Schwinn fixed wheel jogger and love the color, quality and comfort for the little guy but after my wife’s first 2 mile walk with it, the steering was hard for her. She’ll run with it but we do more walking than running so we returned it and got the swivel. So far, i’m happy with it - the swivel seems durable and simple so it should not break off. I really like the swivel now - very easy to cruise around with. Also, for tall people out there, I’m 6′8″ and the handle is adjustable so i’m not bending over to push - quite comfortable for me. My wife is 5′8″ and it is a good adjustment for her. The padding & harness is comfortable for our kid too. no wobble in the front tire either which is good!

A few cons: it didn’t come with the weather shield as it shows in the picture. the foot brake is nice where it needs just one foot to press on the bar across but it unfortunately sitcks out a little and my big feet sometimes will hit it when i’m walking. i can live with that.

5 Stars Love it!!!!
This is the best stroller I have ever had…and I’ve had five others. I don’t jog, but I walk alot.

My Grand daughter loves this tricycle, it was for her birthday. Our problem was that the rear right tire was warped, and the handle bar will-not stay tight. We constantly have to tighten it up, and the tire looks wobbly.

1 Star Big Flat tire problem
We have had this tricycle for just over a month(used only 3-4 times) and the front tire already deflated completely..even the back tires were also deflated..brought the air pump and when I put it on the tires, their tube inflates outside the tire(comes out of the rim) even with 10 psi (versus recommended 36 psi) so its totally useless..1 week past 30 day period so won’t even get complete refund..Wish I had read the reviews on its flat tire issue while ordering..don’t go for it!!!

5 Stars Super Nice Trike!
Got it yesterday, my dad put it together and said it was easy to assemble. The trike has a great bell and the bike itself is very nice and its big too. I haven’t seen a nicer one yet, even the neighbors kids were impressed by the trike and were commenting how nice it was. My son will turn 3 in 2 months and he loves it and hes been riding it all day inside and outside. Its very smooth compared to his old trike with the hard plastic tires.

4 Stars A ‘big-boy’ look with a tricycle feel.
I bought this for my (almost) 3 year old. He has two older brothers who have bicycles, and he thought a regular tricycle was for ‘babies.’ This one was perfect! He calls it his motorcycle. It was very easy to put together, and since the seat can change position as he grows, I imagine he will be having loads of fun for many years to come!

5 Stars Our daughter LOVES it!
We got this for our daughter who’s 2 years and 9 months old. She can’t get enough of it and always wants to ride her “bike.” It’s the best looking trike I’ve seen out there! The box says it has a maximum height of 38″, but my daughter is around 37″ and the seat is pushed forward to the second setting. I think this will last a while!

4 Stars What a deal!
I was a little iffy on purchasing a bike trailer that cost less that most but I read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. I LOVE IT! It’s very lightweight and easy to attach to my bike. I can hardly tell it’s back there (except when there is a significant wind then the thing is a parachute). There were no instructions on how to assemble, my poor husband had only the picture on the box to go by. I haven’t used it as a stroller yet but it looks very easy to put the front wheel on. I don’t like the shoulder straps, however. I wish the fasteners were your normal clips (like on a stroller) instead they are the hook clip that can be rather difficult to undo (especially if you have a 1-year-old that’s had enough of the bike ride). Other than that, I’m very happy with it.

4 Stars Great trailer
I recently purchased the Schwinn Trailblazer Double as a 2nd trailer to keep at my parents’ house. We also own a Chariot double. For the price, the Schwinn gets the job done.

Positives - it folds VERY flat and compactly and is easy to fold (even while holding a squirming 11 month old), it is light, good ventilation, snack pockets, nice storage bin, handle bar can be set for different height parent, snap cover is easy to put on/take off, the front “arm” folds in for a very small “folded footprint”

Negatives - no shocks so is a bumpy ride, the front wheel is not very sturdy (when I ran with it, I tilted the stroller so the wheel was off the ground), small sling-style seat so the kids sit very close together, straps are not very adjustable and can be difficult to clip on/off, cannot be fitted with an infant sling, no sun shade

All-in-all, a great stroller. I would consider this as our only trailer if we didn’t already have a Chariot.

4 Stars Great Value
Great bike trailer without breaking the bank! The kids love it and it’s easy to hook up and pull. Would definitely buy this trailer again.

5 Stars Great Deal!
I bought this about a year ago. My son and I go all over Chapel Hill with it. He loves it, and so do I. It’s a great way for me to spend time with my son while running errands and getting exercise. We never vacation without it. If I were designing this trailer I might tweak some things, and I’ve seen features on other trailers that look nice, but I think you’d be a fool to spend more on a trailer unless you were planning to do some serious single-track mountain biking with your child in tow. It’s like harnessing your child into their own roll cage, which makes it WAAAY safer than a bike seat.

The only minuses I can even think of are a cheap front wheel for the stroller conversion (it’s made of plastic), I had to reglue the safety flag, and it doesn’t lock in the folded position. All of those can be fixed if you’re willing to spend double the money on Burley or a Chariot. Save your cash. You’re a parent. Put it in your child’s college fund!

4 Stars Good but it NEEDS A BRAKE!!!
We bought this for out 13 month old daughter a few months ago and loved it as a trailer. I have recently taken up jogging and it rolls very nicely. I thought that there could be nothing wrong with it until I tried to stop on a very slight hill…there is no “parking” brake! The trailer needs to be stopped on very flat ground or it will roll away. I gave it four stars because it is such a great trailer and also jogger. It rolls as nice as some friends’ expensive joggers but the brake is a safety feature that Schwinn should have thought of.

4 Stars Good starter scooter
I bought this scooter for my 3 year old so he would have a good quality first scooter that also looked like his older brother’s Razor scooter. The first one that arrived in the mail had the plastic around the wheels broken off so we had to return it. The second one arrived and has been fine ever since but I worry about all the plastic. With a boy riding it (and one already arriving broken), I wonder how long the plastic will hold up. Considering the regular Razors are all metal, I’m not sure why the base and unerside has so much plastic on it. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise, it’s a great first scooter.

3 Stars Fancy but not functional
It surely is a fancy scooter I’ve ever seen.

But it was too slow and even risky (handle bar) for my 3 yr old boy.

Shipping was delayed, and the logo on the handle bar was printed on the back, and my boy kept asking me which way the handle was supposed to go.

2 Stars Doesn’t glide but good stability
We got the Razor Jr scooter for our 3 1/2 year old. You have to constantly kick to keep moving - it never glides like a classic Razor scooter. If you are looking for the stability of the 3 wheels with the glide of a classic Razor try the Mini Kick Scooter by Micro Mobility for around $75. If your kid is fairly coordinated and can balance then just get the classic Razor Scooter A.

5 Stars My grandson Jake
Jake thanks you for the many hours of funds he already enjoyed riding his razor. I thank you for a prompt delivery.

4 Stars all good
Its really good, little one likes it a lot. I just wish it was little bit cheaper to deserve 5 stars.
