    5 Stars Great Sandals
Just as advertised. Great fit. I’ve been wearing them everyday since I’ve taken them out of the box.

    3 Stars Sizing isn’t consistent
    Newport H2 Full Sandal -Mens

I recently purchased my second pair of Keen newport sandals. The first pair I got were awesome right out the box. I wear them all the time. So I decided to purchase a second pair. Same size different color. They don’t even feel close to the other ones. I’m wearing a pair of socks with them trying to get them broken in. Seems that Keen is not consistent with their sizing. Hope they start feeling good soon or they’ll end up in my wife’s annual yard sale.

    5 Stars Very Pleased!
Bought this for the “urban jungle” of NYC. I’ve been wearing them almost every day for the past month and they are very comfortable. They seem to be well made and are holding up well. I’m very pleased with the purchase and would recommend them.

    5 Stars Outstanding Performer
I have had my H2 sandals for over 3 years, and have put well over 1K miles on mine. Around town, in the water, and on the trail. They have not worn out or fallen apart, or lost color. I did have to have a shoe repairman reinforce the seams on the fabric where the side panels meet the sole, maybe 100 miles ago, but after 1K miles, I guess a little seam repair is more than reasonable. I just bought another pair, on sale, but they are still in the box cause the old ones are still going strong.

    4 Stars Newport H2
A lot of people say it feels a half size too small but I think it feels true to

both size and width. I received these shoes and was pleased to find that there

    isn’t any break-in time. I have a job where I walk around for 8 hours straight;

I wore these the first day without any pain later that evening or the next day.

There is an adjustable elastic cord that can be tightened, but I think the shoes

are more comfortable if they are left a little loose. I had them tightened one

day and noticed a pinching sensation after a couple hours of use. Another reason

to wear them loose is that it makes it easier to put them back on if your feet

    are wet or sweaty

They feel like they have very good traction but I’m not walking through rivers

with slippery rocks so it isn’t the best test.

Because these are closed-toe sandals, it creates a problem when small rocks,

sand, or other objects get into the shoe. I found that I can’t just wiggle my

foot around to get rid of the nuisance, I need to take the shoe completely off

and dump it out. Another thing I noticed about these shoes is that it dried out

the back of my heels. I only had to apply lotion once to correct the dryness and

I have not had a problem since, but it is something to be aware of.

Overall this is a great sandal and I don’t have to worry about sticks or other

objects stabbing my toes because of the closed-toe feature. I have owned these

for about a month now and they don’t show any signs of wear so I expect them to

hold up for a long time. I would not recommend them for walking around on the

beach because sand and rocks get trapped underneath your feet and up in the toe

area, but for walking through rivers and as a casual shoe these are great. One

last problem that I just thought of is that they aren’t comfortable for standing around with minimal movement for long periods of time. It’s possibly just my feet, but anyone interested in these should try them on and stand around for a while to see how they feel.

5 Stars Queen of Keen loves this shoe
I am entitled to call myself Queen of Keen - I own more than 8 pairs of Keen shoes in various styles and I love everyone one of them. The Calistoga sandal is comfortable and felt fine new out of the box. The Bayou color is very pretty and the leather uppers make it a versatile casual shoe. I have ingrown nails and the toe cap really protects my feet from the occasional stub or accidental tread on my foot.

4 Stars Nice all around shoe
Like it alot but order a half size bigger if you have a wide foot.

5 Stars A DELIGHT FOR THE FEET
I thought at first when I saw them that they were a little pricey for a slip on sandal, but after putting them on, I realized they were worth every penny. They are wonderful to walk in, and a soothing comfort to the feet. I would recommend them to anyone who wants comfort along with a nice look.

    Reef Mens Smoothy Sandal

An easy step begins immediately with the Reef Smoothy sandal. It has sturdy polyester webbing straps with a cool woven design and a foamy EVA sole for perfect comfort and cushioning.

5 Stars Reef the best flip flop made. Period. But they used to make even better ones!!!
Several years ago, I moved into hotter inland climates which have prolonged intensely hot summers. My work requires formal business attire. Needless to say when I get home from work, or am off for the weekend, I wear my reefs with absolute pleasure. They are extremely comfortable and will contour to your foot, to provide nice stability, keeping your foot on, or rather in the surface on the flip-flop. The tread and traction is excellent as well. They are comfortable stylish and keep your feet cool during hot weather. Everytime I put them on, I know I will be relaxin, ahhhhh, how nice. Best flip flop on the market. Have tried others, but the simplicity of the Reefs reign supreme. As far as fit goes, if you are a half size such as 9.5, get a 10, they will fit perfectly.

On a side note, 6-7 years ago, Reef made a flip flop I liked even better, it had a twist to the design which I loved. Basically, instead of the nylon fabric which goes in between your toes, they had one with an extremely soft comfortable rubber which went in between your toes. It was slightly more comfortable than the nylon part, they employ in all their flip flops now, except for their all rubber ones. Another benefit of this rubber part was it kept the nylon strap elevated, so when you put your foot in, it went right in, you did not have to squiggle your toes to raise the nylon strap in order to slide your toes in and get the toes seated up against the nylon, or rather in this case the soft rubber. With this rubber part, you just put your foot in, and voila, you’re off and relaxin, totally hassle free. This was not an all rubber piece that went from the toe strap and all the way to back of the flip flop forking and branching off to the rear of the flip flop where they attach to the deck rear deck of the flip flop on both sides in the rear; it was not a totally nylon-fabric free flip flop, in other words it was not all rubber like other flip flops by Reef and other manufacturers. It was a hybrid, with a rubber part that elevated the nylon straps, so you could just glide right in. It combined the best of both worlds with the convenience of the rubber part where you put your toes in, but after that nylon straps were attached to that rubber toe-piece and went back and attached to the rear deck of the flip flop. The nylon straps are more breathable than rubber and keep your feet nice and cool, while the rubber part that goes in between your toes, made them the ideal, best flip flop ever made. I hope someone from Reef comes across this review. Bring back the hybrid Reef, myself and others will buy them again and again. Also these flip flops are extremely durable. I wear the heck out of them; I mean I put serious mileage on them. I usually buy them every two years,

    5 Stars Great flipflops
They are very comfortable and very durable. The last pair of these lasted five years in Florida so they were worn almost daily.

    5 Stars Comfort & Attractive
The Reef Men’s Smoothy Sandals are not only comfortable with a good fit, but attractive as well. They provide good cushioning for the feet when walking and look good enough to wear as leisure/relaxed footwear. They are also reasonably priced. I’m very pleased with them and would recommend them to those who like flip flops or would like to try a pair.

5 Stars No Question … The Best, Most Comfortable Sandal
No question, this is the best, most comfortable sandal you will ever own. My first Reef Smoothy pair lasted 10 years! I just bought a new pair and absolutely them them.

I prefer the regular Smoothy over the Contour Smoothy. The Contour is still a nice sandal, but the pre-built “natural” contour already in the sandal may or may not be right for your foot. I like them, but there is not as much opportunity to individualize the sandal to YOUR specific foot. The regular Smoothy is a full flat surface, almost like a blank canvas. After only a couple of days of wearing the sandal, it is already shaping to my foot. After about a week, it is perfect, specific to the contours of MY foot.

Both Smoothy sandals are great. But if you have a choice, stick with the original.

    3 Stars slippery sandal
This is not a great sandal. The bottom is hard and is very slippery on my tile and wood floors. It is comfortable, but I would not recommend this for anyone not surefooted.
