TaylorMade r7 CGB MAX Ti Fairway Woods

TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Fairway Wood:

Golfers seeking the best fairway wood performance money can buy will get it in the r7 CGB Max fairway. Incredibly forgiving and easy to launch high and long, it is also adjustable to promote increased distance and accuracy. The club’s triangular shape makes it easy to launch the ball high and super deep, and the Movable Weight Technology (MWT) with three weights promotes change in trajectory of up to 22 yards from slight fade to large draw. The unique r7 CGB Max fairway wood shape also allows the CG (center of gravity) to be moved amazingly far back from the clubface. The large titanium clubhead has an exceptionally high MOI (moment of inertia) for a tremendously stable, forgiving and easy-to-hit fairway wood. Finally, the club features SuperFast Technology with an extremely light RE*AX 45 gram shaft and light overall club weight for faster swing speed and added distance.

TaylorMade Womens r7 Draw Fairway Wood

TaylorMade continues its long-running standard of excellence with the women’s r7 Draw fairway wood. The wood is distinguished by the company’s Draw-Weighted Technology, which concentrates the weight in the back heel area, thereby encouraging a faster clubface rotation through impact to promote a right-to-left ball flight. The r7 Draw is specifically designed for players who need as much help as they can get to hit the ball straighter, higher, and longer, particularly players looking to gain extra distance by turning their chronic fades into a draw. The wood also accommodates golfers who want to set themselves up with shorter approach shots by turning a severe banana ball into a manageable fade.

The Draw-Weighted Technology works by moving the clubhead’s center of gravity closer to the shaft. This speeds the rotation of the clubhead during the forward swing in the same way that a spinning figure skater speeds the rotation of her body by pulling her arms inward. As a result, the golfer has an easier time squaring the clubface at impact, thereby imparting either a draw spin or reduced slice spin. The r7 Draw also includes a 50-gram RE*AX soft-tipped graphite shaft that feels great and promotes a high launch angle for increased distance. As with all of the latest TaylorMade clubs, the women’s r7 Draw is backed by a two-year warranty.

TaylorMade Mens r7 Quad 425 Driver

The TaylorMade r7 Quad 425 driver offers a broader scope of performance possibilities than the original r7 Quad driver, with the ability to steer the ball higher, longer, and straighter than the earlier model. The r7 Quad 425 is distinguished by the company’s TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC) technology, which gives golfers the freedom to alter the driver’s launch conditions by redistributing 28 grams of discretionary weight in a variety of ways. While the average driver delivers a single set of launch conditions, the r7 Quad offers six, letting you choose the one that generates the best combination of distance, accuracy, and workability. The system is built around a quartet of widely spaced ports–called TLC ports–that are located in the sole of the club head. TaylorMade’s specialists then developed differently weighted TLC cartridges that can be installed in the ports and removed again. Adding individual cartridges effectively shifts the center of gravity toward the front, back, heel, or toe of the club, depending on your personal performance needs.

Compared to the original r7 Quad, the r7 425 boasts 17 percent more movable weight, a seven percent increase in the Moment of Inertia (MOI), a 45 percent larger span of horizontal CG movement, and a 13 percent increase in backspin rate adjustment, among other improvements. All of the enhancements mean that the r7 425 is more forgiving of average swings and promotes a wider change in shot shaping and trajectory. Plus, the r7 425 is engineered to deliver a larger draw bias when the cartridges are configured to promote a draw, along with a higher flight angle when the cartridges are configured to promote a high-neutral trajectory. The variety of improvements helps golfers hit the ball or higher or lower, or helps low- and mid-handicap players work the ball to the right by varying degrees up to 13 yards.

Other details include TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology (ICT), which provides a larger clubface area for higher ball velocity and greater distance, even on mis-hits; Ultra-Thin-Wall Technology, which saves critical weight and permits the clubhead walls to be 0.6mm thin, 25 percent thinner than the walls of the r7 Quad; and an RE*AX shaft that reduces ovaling in the mid-section while promoting greater stability, shot consistency, and clubhead speed.

TaylorMade Mens r7 Draw 460 Ti Driver

TaylorMade continues its long-running standard of excellence with the men’s r7 Draw 460 driver. The driver is distinguished by the company’s Draw-Weighted Technology, which concentrates the weight in the back heel area, thereby encouraging a faster clubface rotation through impact to promote a right-to-left ball flight. The r7 Draw is specifically designed for players who need as much help as they can get to hit the ball straighter, higher, and longer, particularly players looking to gain extra distance by turning their chronic fades into a draw. As a result, the golfer has an easier time squaring the clubface at impact, thereby imparting either a draw spin or reduced slice spin.

The r7 Draw also employs TaylorMade’s renowned Inverted Cone Technology (ICT), which increases the size of the COR zone–the portion of the clubface that delivers consistently higher ball velocity and greater average distance. The extra-large 460cc clubhead, meanwhile, offers an extremely high Moment of Inertia (MOI) that guarantees tremendous forgiveness and long, straight drives even on off-center hits. Finally, the r7 Draw includes a 55-gram RE*AX soft-tipped graphite shaft that feels great and promotes a high launch angle. The driver is backed by a two-year warranty.
