Humminbird XP 9 20 T Puck Transducer

The Humminbird XP 9 20 T Puck Transducer is designed to mount to the inside of most fiberglass hulls with a deadrise less than 15 degrees, and transmit the sonar signal through the hull itself. Your boat’s hull must be of single-layer, fiberglass construction and be free of trapped air or voids in order for a puck transducer to operate correctly, so cored fiberglass, metal and wood will not work. This unit is meant to be glued to your inner hull with a slow-cure epoxy, which is included, and connects to your compatible Humminbird sonar or fish finder system via the included 15-foot cable. The Humminbird XP 9 20 T is a single/dual puck transducer with a built-in temperature sensor, and is designed to be used with Humminbird’s; Legend ID40, Piranha 5, PiranhaMax 10, PiranhaMax 15, PiranhaMax 20, Matrix 15, Matrix 17, Matrix 25, Matrix 27, Matrix 55, Matrix 65, Matrix 67, Matrix 97, FF515, FF535, and FF565. This item is backed by Humminbird’s one-year limited warranty.

Humminbird RF45 Advance Remote Sonar Sensor

With the Humminbird RF45 Advance Remote Sonar Sensor (RSS), you get an even better performance from your SmartCast wireless remote fish finder. This unit provides you with a greater depth capability, and longer in-water usage time than the RSS device that originally came with your SmartCast system. The RF45 features water surface temperature readings, and programmable two-channel operation so you can fish with a buddy without crossing signals, as well as a flashing, internal light that you can switch on or off for night fishing. The RF45 is designed for use with Humminbird’s SmartCast RF15, RF25, RF35 fish finders, although it will work as replacement sensor for the RF10, RF20 and RF30 as well, but will not provide temperature readings or extended depth performance. The RF45 is intended for use in the US and Canada only, and is backed by Humminbird’s one-year limited warranty.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Good idea
Removing the fish finder for transport is a good idea, but what about the connections? This keeps them from filling up with bugs and dirt while you tow. Highly recommended.

3 Stars Humminbird Cover
Fits snug, but I would not keep it on when going down the road unless you add a rubber band to hold in place. I knew this before ordering. Does what it is suppose to do and that is to keep the elec. conections clean. Great product that should of came with the bird…

4 Stars it works
This little rubberized cover works perfect when the boat is in storage and the fish finder is not in use - it keeps out dust and debris. It does not have a tight enough fit that I would trust it to stay on while towing though.

5 Stars Seems like a throwaway…
This little cover seems like a throwaway and could easily be replaced by a piece of cardboard and some duct tape, but for the price and what it does, it works perfectly. You probably don’t need it if your boat parks under a canopy, but mine is in the open, so having this keeps the rain from the connections.

Being someone who believes electricity sits in a wire after the power is shut off, I figure anything to keep the power connections from rusting can’t be a bad idea.
